i'm not slacking...

Pictures are still coming. I've been a little distracted. And rightfully so. Senior thesis is here, and it's pretty much taken over my life. The show goes up in 12 days. And I have been a knitting fiend. I've broken the 5 mile mark!! Between thesis and machine knitting I've racked up 4,900 yards. That's 2.78 miles alone!! If I keep doing large projects like this, maybe I will get there before I'm 90!!

I've been knitting and crocheting like crazy lately, but I think the only thing I can really report as a major accomplishment is the Blue Pi Shawl of Doom!!! IT'S FINALLY DONE!!!! 1,111 yards (I weighed it!) which, after adding in a few other projects, brings me up to 5785.5 yards, or approx. 3.28 miles. Pictures soon.

Under Cover

Or at least covered. The "Under Cover of Midnight Hooded Cowl" by Julie Turjoman in Katia Peru brings me up to 2.47 miles. That's 4,342 yards!!!

Faulty Technition

That would be me. But I've been very busy in the meantime. Sorry, no finished objects to really speak of, but I have landed myself in the greatest internship a yarn crafter could ask for. I'm spending the summer on a small sheep farm in Virginia where their main business is dying and selling yarn. Its actually a little more complicated than that, but you can check that out here, here, and here. But I can add 235 yards to the mix now, because I've already knit a sample hat, and I'm working on a sample sock, and that's not all I've been doing. There's a lot more coming. But you'll have to wait a little longer.
